Koren Stark, CSP, CSM, ICE-AC, ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF: As an Agile Coach I believe in living lean and agile principals that promote collaboration and creates value for the customer as well as the team, the organisation and within myself. It's been quite the journey which started when I was introduced to Agile in 2007 consulting as a test engineer in a startup business group at a very large company. The small team had the autonomy to try a different approach - hmmm - what's this - retrospectives, sprints, standups and developers actually talking to me? Wow - I liked it.------------------------------------------------ In 2010, at a tiny company, we used Scrumbanerfall and started to adopt BDD, and TDD. The new Test Manager opened my eyes even more to what it truly means to be Agile. -------------------------------------- As an engineering consultant in 2011, using my past experiences, I introduced SCRUM to a different startup business group and facilitated experiment and adoption to release the new marketing web site (500pages) within a short time-boxed project. When gigantic company sold the startup business group, I committed to finding a company who fully embraced agile.----------------------------------------- That's when I found a perfect opportunity at an online investing firm, that lived Agile from the top down and up through the ranks. I wore several hats, initiated/promoted/contributed to experiments, and embraced pivots that made for healthier teams (BDD, XP, Lean Startup, Design Thinking). Outside of work, I hone my craft with other agilists through meetups, conferences, courses and reading publications. Through the agile coaching institute, my capabilities have rapidly evolved as an Agile Coach, Trainer and Facilitator. Now with 10 years under my belt as an agile-lean professional, I am focusing on enabling organisations to evolve business agility culture and teams be/become agile as a coach/facilitator, leverage technical mastery to understand complex problems, tackle impediments, and empower organisations and teams to be healthy and high performing to bring value to the customer.
