Antoine Amiri

Antoine (Ata) Amiri left a successful 30 year Software Engineering and IT career in Silicon Valley to follow his dreams of working more closely with people. He embarked on a new career working with entrepreneurs, business leaders and executives as a coach. As a child he was born and raised in a farming village with strong tribal values. Highly interdependent community members depended on one another and collaborated for their success and livelihoods. He is passionate in applying this paradigm in organizations with high performing teams, using the variety of skills and approaches as a business and SCRUM coach. He brings an international perspective in this exceedingly global business environment to help business leaders and their teams transform their work place by creating more transparency and trust, communicating more effectively, providing constructive feedback in the spirit of support and collaboration, reducing unnecessary stress, and help everyone on the team to win every time. Antoine holds a Master's degree in Engineering, and is a certified professional coach with certification from Coaches Training Institute, International Coach Federation, and the SCRUM Alliance. He was certified by Helen Palmer and Dr. David Daniels as an Enneagram teacher, and has been a member of Dr. Daniels' monthly Enneagram teachers' group since 1995. He has been awarded several counseling and group leadership certifications, and leads support groups in the San Francisco Bay Area where he lives with his wife Tara, his son Andre, and the family pets Tikka and Mowry.
