Giles is the Founder & CEO of The e-finiti Group, comprised of e-finiti - a Technology Advisory & Cloud First Managed Services firm, Sports Innovation ME - An innovative sports and recreation brand, and an exciting new startup currently in stealth mode.

Prior to launching the e-finiti group companies, Giles was the Group CIO & Interim COO / Head Of Operations for The Abraaj Group, leading a global technology transformation & digitisation programme, alongside driving operational improvement & holding CISO responsibilities. This role built upon his time at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), where his initial role was establishing a new IT Delivery & Infrastructure management function. Following his success in that role he was then asked to transform Technology Business Management through remediating & modernising the IT Financial Management, Procurement & Vendor Management functions.

Prior to this, Giles was the Global Head of IT Delivery for Standard Bank covering both the Investment Banking and Retail Banking operations worldwide, having first proven himself as the International Head of Platform Services. These roles followed a very successful technical consultancy career.

Giles has a highly successful track record with 20 years’ experience in delivery, design, management, deployment & operation of heterogeneous, multi-tier, enterprise systems, alongside 17 years’ experience leading diverse teams, driving IT transformation, creating business aligned technology strategy and defining, developing & delivering IT services utilizing many different models to enable business success.

Giles is a proponent of the 4th industrial revolution with a passion for blockchain, Quantum computing & AI.
