Luis Augusto Peña Pereira is a husband, father, computer scientist, software architect, entrepreneur and gamer. Since his first contact with Scrum in 2013, Luis has managed to incorporate agile practices in every aspect of the software development lifecycle. Having an early beginning in computer programming (1995), Luis have mastered every phase of software development: He has been World Finalist in both 2006 and 2007 ACM's International Collegiate Programming Contest, representing South America Region (North) [Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia] and moved from there to software architect, team leader, technical & development manager, CTO. In 2013 he co-founded Digitalica, a crafting studio for mobile applications. Today Luis is focused on promoting Scrum and Agile practices providing training services for organizations while keeping up with his passion for software development.
