Alessandro Dionisi

Senior software engineer with several years of working experience in thinking and designing solutions for enterprise and distributed applications, especially in Java & Web oriented technologies. I’m a passionate developer and an enjoyable team player, encouraging communication and smart ideas in the projects I’m part of. My favourite working tool is the whiteboard. I’m a bit (too) curious and I like to experiment with new tools and technologies, although I always feel fascinated by the great ideas of the past. My specialties are mainly in designing and developing with Java and its ecosystem frameworks and tools. I often covered DevOps roles, helping projects to improve Continuous Integration/Delivery workflows. In the last years I started enriching my professional experience with client side technologies, especially in Javascript. I love to work in team and I have some experiences of managing little development teams, especially with Agile and Iterative and incremental methodologies. When it’s needed I try to enhance development processes in the team with better tools and methodologies, because I think that a human brain is too precious to be wasted in doing something that can be easily automated. When I have some free time I like to learn and test new technologies, especially in web applications and pervasive computing domains.
