Personal statement

Human potential, expressed through the desire to know and the ability to learn, has as many barriers as imagination has. None. In a society, which leans towards improving the technological factor, the human factor is seen as an auxiliary tool of development. On the contrary. From manager to employee, from investor to client, people represent the company’s values, and the technologies and resources used are, in fact, the modernization and streamlining tools of work process. These are improved by people for people, to whom belongs the most sophisticated tool from the word, the brain. More tools lead to what we call Brain Concert.

Biography

In Brain Concert, one of the main players in the IT training in Romania and official IBM business partner, I hold the function of Head of IT Training. In just two years, as IBM certified trainer, I have managed to develop a training center to western standards, with a variety of technologies related to Software and Web Development, Software Integration, Business Process Management, IBM Software and Hardware, HP, Microsoft. Majority of the courses on open-source standards where basicaly delivered in an agile way.

During the 4 years under Brain Concert, I have implemented new technologies in IBM and open source area and I have held training sessions for important customers like Ceragon, Avira, IBM, Unicredit, HP, Ministry of Justice in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Deutsche Bank, Emag, the National Agency of Fiscal Administration, Ministry of Interior, Petrom, Unicredit Bulbank (Bulgaria), Bucharest Polytechnic University, etc.

Regarding the administration part of Gentlab Company, I hold the function of General Manager. Gentlab is a company specialized in developing customized software solutions for its partners. In addition to Enterprise Web Applications, customized Software Products, Gentlab proposes GenThink, a toolkit of project management for business process optimization, implemented for partners in terms of time, human resources, budget and planning where I had played the role of Product Owner.

As the Gentlab motto sais: “We think IT”, I would like to add that we think it all in terms of IT. Therefore every application that we developed has the purpose to transform the internal activities of the companies in codes, in order to improve the processes and the business management.

As well, I hold the function of General Manager in Neuron Training Company, which is a company that develops a platform of kindergartens and which has the purpose to create a place where educators and parents can find all the necessary information related to the kindergarten’s activity. In this project I have the position of Product Owner.

Moreover, I am the General Manager of the Knolyx Company, which develops an online learging platform and which also offers different functions to help partners manage organizations, events, as well class management and business process standardization. In this project I also have the position of Product owner.

Since 2002, from graduating the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science at University of Brasov, with the title of Engineer, I have contributed to the development and implementation of softwares for some of the largest companies in Romania, in variated industries as the public sector, banking, oil, auto, telecom.

For 12 years, I have leaded many teams of software developers in companies like SoftWin, Star Storage, CodeSfere and Gentlab. Regarding my activity in Brain Concert I had teach IBM Software classes from Lotus, Rational and Websphere classes, Agile classes for SCRUM and XP and lead the teams of trainers and material creators for courses.

Regarding my personal life, I am married and I have a son. I consider myself an accomplished father. Also, I am an opened-minded and funny person, that not only knows, but enjoys working with many and different people
