David Parry

I am an experienced software developer, team lead and scrum master within a company providing market-leading clinical software products. I have over 15 years experience developing software in this market, and have used various principles along my way including waterfall, scrum and kanban. I have been involved with scrum practices for approximately 4 years since becoming a team-lead, and have progressed to being a team lead across separate scrum teams. I foster an approach of continual improvement to ensure the teams reach and maintain a sustainable cadence of delivering quality products, and driving up quality through process improvement. I am skilled as a developer across microsoft platforms. I develop in C# using principles such as SOLID and OO, and also skilled in writing performant T-SQL. Experience in WCF, WPF and winforms, and also messaging, services, and multi-layered architectures. I also take a strong interest in team management techniques, coaching and introspection techniques.
