About
"I have been hacking for the last twenty years as a way to combine my love of far and away lands with my inclination for breaking software in ways it has never been broken before. I grew up in the deep South and I followed the advice of friends and family to get out and see more of the world besides catfish and cotton fields. I started writing code to finance my traveling back when this ancient language called ‘Turbo C’ came out. As a slow moving tourist, I have resided in New Orleans, Memphis, Atlanta, Denver, Boulder, Aspen, Honolulu, Maui, Aspen (again), Florida and Washington (the state, that is). I have overstayed my work Visa all over from Kuala Lumpur to Amsterdam to Dubai and I can’t wait to go get back on a plane to somewhere with spicy food and poor plumbing. In Hawaii, I liked to Boogie Board (because I was a poor surfer) and I liked to snowboard in Aspen where I was known as ‘Death from Above’ for my lack of control and disregard for skiers and marmots. I have been a project manager, a developer, a tester, a sysadmin and a DBA, but I really like it when I pentest an application and I see my SQL injection remove all the rows in a database table. I am a CISSP and certified scrummaster and I mostly use Burp Suite Professional, Python and some command foo for testing
