Christopher Urban

Chris Urban has had diverse experience as an engagement manager, team manager, marketing agency partner, CMS site builder and manager, and digital strategist. With an ability to clearly communicate complex issues to stakeholders and clients, Chris focuses on developing strategic relationships and leading and mentoring teams on large-scale open-source software projects utilizing scrum and agile delivery methods. He has developed and directed both open-source and proprietary-based implementations of Kafka, Drupal, and other CMS and ECM platforms, migrations, server and database deployments for over 10 years. Chris has worked with a variety of verticals: financial technology, consumer product companies, media and entertainment, healthcare, educational, tourism and hospitality. Chris has presented sessions and led discussions around scrum, agile, Drupal and JIRA at DrupalCon New Orleans, Baltimore and Vienna; sessions at Drupaldelphia, DrupalCamp NJ, NYCCamp, SandCamp, BADCamp and TexasCamp.
