About
Matthias Mühlhausen was an early computer user. At a young age, he owned his first computer, a Commodore 64. Matthias studied computer science at Furtwangen University in Germany, and developed software for several years in different domains: natural language processing, aeronautical databases, media, and internet applications.
When Matthias came into contact with Scrum as a developer, he was thrilled by the framework's simple but effective approach. The human-centric agile viewpoint was an important aspect for him to specialize in this field.
Matthias worked in several scenarios with different Scrum teams as a ScrumMaster and Agile Coach were he learned that different settings need different implementations of the Scrum process. He experienced that transitioning from a classic approach to agile development needs organisational change. Matthias enjoys when he can help a team to develop itself.
Matthias is always looking for new things that he can learn and enjoys teaching others.
Due to several years as a user, he is very familiar with JIRA and Confluence and supports the Wiki approach.
In his spare time Matthias enjoys mountain biking and loves nature and travelling.
