GCF Consulting developed and holds a patent for the “BD-in-a-Box” business development framework and toolset that is used by multiple businesses delivering products and services to the federal government  Previous to leaving  This has resulted in over $100m of new business awards to his clients. Previous to this as the Director of HP’s US Federal Government Sector Strategic Sales Organization Mr. Fields led a team of capture managers,  business development  managers and solutions architects focused on winning large complex strategic opportunities with a yearly funnel targeted at over $1B of new Federal business. In his career Mr. Fields has often been charged with the task of integrating large organizations with vastly different missions, measurements and cultures, to meet the demands of continually changing business and corporate environments, and co-led the Integration of the HP & EDS Federal organizations representing thousands of employees and over $6B of Revenue to HP. Mr. Fields joined what was then Digital Equipment Corporation in 1984 as a Software Specialist.  During the next 8 years He established himself as one of the most technically knowledgeable UNIX Internals and integration consultants in the corporation. In that role he was tasked with solving very intricate mission critical technical problems in a short time frame and has designed and engineered capabilities that are now found in the HP’s corporate product set and at the core of systems supporting our critical infrastructure.
