About
Elonka Dunin, CSP/CSM/CSPO/PMP (Certified Scrum Professional, Certified ScrumMaster, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Project Management Professional) is a lifetime member of the International Game Developers Association, Chairperson Emerita and a founding member of the IGDA's Online Games SIG, and a co-Director of the Global Game Jam from 2011–2014. For over two decades she was General Manager and Executive Producer at Simutronics in St. Louis, Missouri, leading cross-functional Agile teams to make award-winning multiplayer, social, casual, and mobile games such as GemStone, DragonRealms, Modus Operandi, Alliance of Heroes, CyberStrike, Tiny Heroes, and One Epic Knight.
In her current consulting business, Elonka focuses on three loves: Agile Development, Game Development, and Cryptography. As an authority on the world's most famous unsolved codes, she has been a consultant to government agencies and to the bestselling author Dan Brown (known for writing "The Da Vinci Code"), who actually named a character after Elonka in his sequel novel, "The Lost Symbol".
She helped build the game studio Black Gate Games in Nashville, and coached the Boston-based Family Education Network (Poptropica, Funbrain) to get their own Agile development program up and running.
As of 2019, Elonka has acquired her CSP certification, is working towards her CTC (Certified Team Coach) certification, and as a consultant is available to help other companies with their own Agile Transformations.
