Elderclei Reami

Elderclei Reami, obtained BSc and MSc titles from ICMC/USP, Brazil, and has been working for small to huge IT companies for the last 15 years (I even tried to own and lead a consulting company myself during the DotCom years). As a team member, owner, and leader, I experienced and made several of the common classical mistakes in IT projects, which certainly got me to approve and adhere to Agile Manifest and to Scrum lately.

Last projects I took part dealed with:

- high traffic webmail system (+4 million accounts) for UOL, a big Brazilian ISP, using Ruby on Rails for technical implementation, and agile practices for fast platform change and production delivery

- multi-channel CRM implementation for Banco Real (ABN Amro Bank Brazilian arm), a project based on PeopleSoft technology with complex integration with legacy systems scheduled in time-boxes of 4 to 6 months.

I also worked on ABN Amro Internet Banking platform for some time, and managed to be a IT management tutor for FGV on-line courses.

From 2000 to 2002, I used to be a co-owner from Vertis Tecnologia (www.vertisnet.com.br) where I helper to deliver e-business applications for Livraria Siciliano, FastShop, Sabesp, Renault, Bristol-Myers-Squibb, and other companies.
