Currently, working with Zalando SE as a producer.

Saad Ali Jan worked as a Scrum Master. He has inherited interest towards Scrum in IT-Systems.

What he did back then:

Facilitating sprint planning, daily stand ups (scrums), sprint
review/retrospective, handling impediments and software showcasing to
stakeholders

Managing Scrums through TFS, analysing and keeping track of velocity,
burn downs, PBIs, writing/reviewing user stories.

Weekly ‘one on ones’ with team members

Managing stakeholders, testing and maintenance

Creating / maintaining documentation outlining release procedures,
development processes, the Scrum process, testing, quality assurance and
associated processes

Assisting product owners with PBI creation, stakeholder meetings and
project management
 

In Past he worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Techniques like Exploratory Testing, Blackbox Testing, Test Automation & Internationalization Testing was a part of his job. Agile has provided him opportunity to get involve in SDLC from very start. Saad participated and fulfill a variety of responsibilities co-jointly with other team members. Saad role as a QA was not a separate icon that tests the application being built. Instead he worked in a cross-functional team where developers, business analysts and QAs all worked together.Furthermore, Saad used to take the lead to plan, organizee and involvee the whole team in the testing work and to keep people motivated just as the Scrum Master (SM) does. Analysing the on going processes and continuously working for improvement (CSI). Understanding the KPI's and evaluating their performance on regular basis in Agile development.

Saad holds a bachelors degree in Engineering  and Masters in Business Administration, which increased his understanding about the Business side and helps him in proposing solutions from Business perceptive. Being a part of Customer team in current project, Saad helps the team to deal with Quality challenges. Saad enjoys to be a part of team and likes to play his role to support the team as a good team player without any individual interests personally. He owns strong interpersonal skills which helps him efficiently collaboration with team.
