Büsra Coskuner

My name is Büşra Coşkuner. I started my Product Management career in 2011 in classic telecommunication and got into e-commerce in 2013 by accident. Loving the startup scene in Berlin, I stayed in e-business. After getting in touch with the agile manifesto and Scrum principles, I got deeper into different ways of working agile and into methodologies like Scrum, XP and Kanban. Since then, it's important to me to work in an agile environment, where I can foster a safe to fail environment so that every member of the product, product development or Scrum team is motivated to take on responsibility and ownership.

My basic assumption in product management is that we can only know if our customers like a solution once they are confronted with using it. That's why I love working in collaborative and highly communicative teams, where we can run experiments ideally before building anything, and deliver increments fast to get fast feedback on our product ideas and assumptions. For achieving fast validation, the mix of lean and agile product development is the best combination for me.

I'm living in Switzerland since spring 2016 and worked in a product driven SaaS company. Here, I share my experience and contribute to the product management and development process of the companies that I work with through my practical experience in lean product manegement and agile product development. Further, I enjoy exchanging practical knowledge with other lean and agile practitioners in different meetups and conferences, either as a participant or as a speaker myself.

In my spare time, I love dancing Salsa, bouldering and simply enjoying nature.
