Sam Bekman

My name is Sam Bekman, and I am a passionate and experienced Director of Technology with a proven track record of success in project delivery, team management, relationship building and architecting cross platform solutions for some of the most highly recognized companies in the media, communications, advertising, marketing and technology industries.

I started my career as a Programmer Analyst developing software for large banks and financial institutions before venturing into a small start-up and managing my own projects while being the primary developer on them. As my career continued to progress, I moved my focus into Technical Project Management, and honed my craft through the Project Management Institute (PMI) before becoming a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

I was truly excited to really learn the proper way to follow the Agile/Scrum methodology, and being certified as a CSM was very rewarding and I have felt confident adhering to, and trying to teach, the principles of Scrum to my fellow team members at my company.

We still practice a little "scrumbutt" but we're growing each day, and I'm very proud of our work.
