Who I am: I am a solutionist with a knack for explaining technology concepts to business executives and regular people.  I help with cloud, software development, and cybersecurity.  Let me know how I can help you.

My story:
I grew up as a software developer and data architect.  I was driven to deliver right-sized solutions for the companies that I worked for, which usually meant delivering capabilities in compressed cycles while directly working with the users to identify core functionality, learn their business and to iteratively deliver applications.  What I didn't know at the time was that I was basically doing Agile development and I have since codified my experience into a certified PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP).  Key to my career is my willingness to get into the weeds to understand and learn the business that made my companies tick.  The best technology cannot deliver anything if it is not built upon a solid understanding of the business and data.

I came into my current role because of my reputation for delivering solutions that changed the way companies, or in my most recent case, the US Army does business.  I parlayed my understanding of technology and business processes into a successful understanding of the Department of Defense and Federal acquisition process which in turn led me into business development.  With UNCOMN, I have helped (not done it alone!) grow our company from 10 employees in January 2014 to over 225 (Feb 2025) current employees.  I am proud to call myself a partner in the company.  I am most proud of my teammates that have made UNCOMN one of the fastest growing and most successful companies in the St. Louis region.
