Qin Hou

Qin (Cathy) Hou, CSP, CSM and CSPO, has been working as an Agile Coach in Gemalto since 2013. I helped Telecom software development teams to deploy Scrum process. I worked very closely with the teams to ensure Scrum to be implemented properly. Before that I had seven-year experience on project management in embedded software development, and four-year experience to work as software engineer on Smart Card OS.

I started to work with Scrum when the moving to Scrum was not a top-down behavior of the company, but an R&D's attempt. It explored several issues. For me Agile is the totally different methodologies compared with the traditional ones. The most important thing is to think through Agile way. We should challenge ourselves to really welcome Agile. And successful moving to Agile concerns not only technical people, but also business people as well. It should be the top-down strategy of the company.

In 2015 Agile became our strategy. And staring from April in 2017 I started to be involved in IOS and Android Applet Scrum implementation. These products are very typical to use Scrum methodologies.
