I am energized with an extensive background in business analysis, requirements engineering, product development, initiative management, and technical writing. I began my career at Adobe Systems where I quickly learned the importance of effective and efficient communication, rapid feedback, and capturing persistent issues needing resolutions. While at Adobe, I helped build the knowlege base used by internal technical support and online customer support. I have been active in Being Agile since December of 2010. I was selected as the first Product Owner to head up the initial Agile pilot project at Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC. Since then, I have been deployed to several projects in various roles as a Product Owner, Scrum Master. and as a Coach. I have been and continue to be a tireless advocate for embracing and promoting and applying Agile principles at work and in many aspects of life.
As part of my work-life balance, I also work at coaching youth baseball and soccer, running half marathons and 10Ks, mountain biking, playing golf like Phil Mickelson (not really, just on the same side of the ball), and being a family man.
