About
Gretchen grew up in Cincinnati, OH in large and diverse families of various races, religions, and socio-economic backgrounds. After attending School for Creative and Performing Arts, and Walnut Hills she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Media from College Conservatory of Music. She spent the next several years in the music industry helping to make musicians into household names, and then moved into managing software development projects because rock starts are more alike than many realize!
She expanded into Agile in 2010 and fell in love with the common sense, natural way of managing projects. She got certified as a Scrum Master in 2012 and uses her expereince with her diverse family, the arts, and media to help teams and business be agile. When she isn't technically working, she enjoys writing, hiking, doing voice overs, farming, and photography with her family. She also leads the Agile Knoxville group, works and lives on a small working farm, and uses Agile and Scrum in managing it and her husband's landscaping business.
