Patricia Souza
About
Patricia Chaves de Souza has had a long and successfully background in Computer Science but her passion is focused on program/project management and engineering process improvements. It is this passion that has seen her devote the last 7 years working closely with many product teams in the McAfee Network and Content Security Business Units. During the last 3 years Patricia has been developing and guiding her globally distributed teams on the transition to Scrum Agile. Her success has afforded Patricia the ability to assist multiple teams across McAfee on their journey to Agile, sharing her experiences, challenges and solutions. Earlier this year Patricia has joined the McAfee Agile Transformation Team, with an objective to assist all engineering groups on their transition to Agile development. Back in September this year, Patricia has completed her SAFe Program Consultant certification and she is now applying her new skills to further develop the McAfee Agile Project Life-Cycle Framework (methodology used internally to manage projects). Outside work, Patricia is passionate about yoga, skiing, stand up paddle boarding and travelling.
