Hi, I’m Eduardo Ribeiro, born and raised in Portugal, a small but stunning country on the west coast of Europe, shaped by the ocean and endless curiosity.
I’m passionate about researching innovative ways of working, improving how teams collaborate, and helping organisations evolve. My focus is on Agile practices, digital transformation, and organisational maturity, always with the goal of increasing the value delivered and empowering people. I believe in continuous improvement, experimentation, automation, and adaptability as the foundations of modern, high-performing organisations.
With over 13 years of experience as an Engineering & Delivery Manager and Agile Coach, I’ve led Agile transformations, scaled global teams, and driven operational excellence in fast-paced environments. One of my most impactful achievements was delivering a nearly 50% reduction in annual operating costs through optimised team structures, a DevOps culture, automation, and sharper risk analysis, resulting in faster, more predictable delivery.
I hold a PhD in Informatics Engineering from FEUP, where my research focused on continuous certification approaches to accelerate software release cycles for safer, more cost-effective aerospace systems.
I also write Beyond Lean Agile, a blog where I share insights on modern agility, leadership, software engineering, and organisational maturity.
At my core, I’m a people-centred leader. I’m committed to developing talent, coaching diverse teams, and creating inclusive spaces where innovation and high performance can thrive. I enjoy connecting engineers, product leaders, and business stakeholders around shared goals, strengthening delivery capabilities through trust, clarity, and alignment.
