Scott Cothrell is a Lead Systems Engineer and Technical Delivery Manager with Kapsch TrafficCom North America. Scott is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Electronic Tolling solutions.
Scott's background includes developing hardware and software for specialized applications, from Cryptography to Network Intrusion Prevention. He has led teams developing embedded cryptographic hardware devices through enterprise-level software development and deployment. He is experienced in both Waterfall and Agile development environments and has been a CSM and CSPO since 2012.
Scott holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He actively pursues opportunities to learn new skills, earning a certificate from Carnegie Mellon University's Information Networking Institute Bellcore Seminars, a Cisco Systems CCNA certification, a Cisco Meraki CMNA, and both a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation from the Scrum Alliance.
