About
PhilMark Rosete - Over 2 decades ago I sold Northrop F5 Aircraft spares and supplied the Department of Defense (FMS). For 7 years I built websites for Mickey Mouse (Disney.com). Joined my first start-up in 2006 (Break.com). Spent 3.5 years managing product development for big brand & celebrity social media properties following Agile principles with SCRUM at theAudience. Coached teams in an agile environment at Loot Crate and Jukin Media. Joined the Agile Excellence team at OpenX Technologies in 2018. Today, I work with my teammates from the Technology & Innovation division at City National Bank.
I was trained by Roger Brown for my CSM certification. Soon after I was given the opportunity to implement Scrum at my work place as Product Director. This opportunity evolved quickly and I found it necessary to attend training with Mike Cohn for my CSPO certification. I am thankful for the foundation both trainers helped me establish. For the past 7 years I've been refining my agile/scrum skills and scrum tool box. I plan to continue in this path for the rest of my working career if possible.
Recently I've attended the Global Scrum Gathering in Florida 2016 and the Global Scrum Gathering in San Diego 2017. I was fortunate to be selected to co-present with Harald Koebler on the topic of "Team Safety: Your organizations secret super power!" at the Global Scrum Gathering in San Diego 2017. And, it was a privilege to meet Jeff Sutherland in person and discuss briefly how scrum changed my life.
