Tony McClain

Innovative, results oriented, collaborative IT Leader with very strong business acumen. Tony has extensive expertise in managing teams, improving processes and building appropriate technology to deliver solutions that produce great business value.  He brings over 30 years of professional management experience to his role as Managing Director of The Providence Group and as a Senior Client Partner for MVC.  Tony serves his clients by using practical and effective methods to deliver solutions that solve business challenges. Clients and co-workers alike appreciate him as a trusted partner, relationship builder, and complete team player committed to the growth and success of everyone he works with.

Tony has been served successfully in various Consulting Leadership roles in other organizations prior to his affiliation with MVC including Executive Partner, Head of Delivery, and Principal Consultant.  He came up in the ranks of the IT Profession going from Software Developer to Business Analyst to Project Manager to Program and Engagement Manager delivering Enterprise Software and Services. Tony started his humble beginning as a Software Engineer Trainee at Dominick’s in the early 90’s. In addition to many years of Management in the Retail Food Management Industry, Tony has vertical industry experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, and Entertainment and Media. He received his B.S. in Finance from Illinois State University, his B.S. in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, and his Teaching  & Training Instruction from National Lewis University.
