Jiten Vara

As a Certified Scrum Master (CSM, Scrum Alliance) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM, Scrum.org) I specialise in Agile leadershi using Scrum. I have experience in coaching, leading and evolving many software development teams and departments from waterfall to agile. 

I am confident, skilled and self-motivated with experience in working with teams to deliver successful and cost-effective software solutions that focus on delivering business value at all times. With a specific focus of delivering working software early and often, I am experienced in applying Agile and Scrum principles in managing the delivery and integration of online systems to help ensure early and continuous return on investment.

I have used my experience in working with cross-functional teams of designers and developers using Scrum to help deliver software more effectively in companies in a variety of sectors including charity and multi-national retail.

With an emphasis on continuous improvement I have provided leadership and coaching to a variety of teams in all the companies I have worked in, helping them 
to become self-evolving, self-organizing and high performing, all essential traits of successful Scrum teams.

I strongly believe in the human aspect of technology as I believe that it is often forgotten and yet it is one of the core Agile principles. Without individuals and their interactions and customer collaboration, teams are unlikely to be able to succeed in Scrum environments.

I have a great passion for both Agile and Scrum, and I share this passion and my experiences by contributing to www.scrumandkanban.co.uk. I love talking with people about Agile and Scrum and therefore attend as many user groups as I can.
