Ronald Klarenbeek
About
Ronald Klarenbeek has been working in information technology since 1999. Starting off as a part-time tech helpdesk employee for one of the biggest internet service providers in the Netherlands, he became software developer after finishing his computer science study. After working as a developer at a major Dutch ISP for some years, he switched to working in the project management division of the organisation.
As a Project Manager Ronald has experience working in big corporate environments as well as relatively small agencies. From this experience he has learnt a lot about dealing with software development on all levels, from back-end systems to mobile apps. He is a strong supporter of the Agile mindset and always tries to apply as much of those principles in his work as possible.
Ronald has been working with Scrum since 2011 when he teamed up with one of the biggest Dutch banks to build a mobile banking solution for multiple platforms. Afterwards he worked on delivering a integrated solution comprising of a mobile app, back-end system and interface to existing retail (store) systems. Next to delivering projects he has been actively coaching other Project Managers to effectively put Agile and Scrum theory into practice.
