Dan Weese is Associate Director of Application Development for EY (Ernst & Young) in Nashville, Tennessee. Dan was previously Senior Manager of Application Development for Ingram Content Group, located in La Vergne, Tennessee, where he managed 2 .NET teams for the organization.
A strong advocate for the User Experience and Operations, Dan is self-taught in 4 programming languages and has excelled in both technical and management duties in healthcare, commercial software, SaaS, and Supply Chain Management (SCM). While Dan’s degree is in Audio Engineering, his skills have led him to become a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Advanced Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Professional, and led the conversion of 2 separate development teams from Waterfall methodology to Scrum. He has also taken courses in Kanban, Continuous Delivery, and Lean Six-Sigma. Dan’s unconventional entry into the IT community gives him a unique perspective on hiring and he’s been able to take several people with skills outside of IT and apply them towards a successful career in the technology sector.
Dan has over 20 years in software application development, 14 years in healthcare, 12 years in commercial software, 10 years in Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Distribution, and 10 years in operations.
