Roles played:
- Scrum Team member: In the year 2010, I was a team member of then newly formed scrum team. I contributed to transformation from waterfall to agile.
- Scrum Master: In the year 2012 through 2013, I started acting as a Scrum Master for a scrum team. I trained the team on basic concepts of agile and scrum rituals. I was investing my time in resolving the impediments quickly and making sure that backlog is kept ready for the team.
- Product Owner: In the year 2014 through 2015, I was acting as a Product Owner for the scrum team. I was interacting with end customer of the product and then creating user stories for the team. We used to manage our backlog through Features and User Stories.
- Scrum Trainer: From the year 2015 till present, I am acting as the Scrum Trainer and Coach for the team of 90+ employees (11 scrum teams). My job is to work closely with scrum teams and stakeholders to identify what is going well and what needs improvement. Through multiple sessions of questions and answers, we identify the opportunities to improve the process and work on action items to achieve the desired process improvements. I also train the new team members on scrum methodology. I include interactive games, flipcharts, examples in my trainings.
