Lavanya Raja

Overview

Lavanya has over 14 years of experience in software development, project management and Agile consulting & transformation with enterprises such as Capital One, Rackspace, Wipro Technologies, etc. She is a passionate Agile practitioner and consultant specializing in enterprise Agile transformations, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) implementations and Lean Agile development. She is always interested in meaningful interactions with fellow practitioners and opportunities to coach & train Agile teams.

Experience & Achievements In Agile

• Enterprise Agile Transformation – Lavanya has  led the Agile transformation for enterprises like Rackspace, right from helping design an Agile transformation roadmap based on the situation, to training the teams on Scrum and coaching them as needed. Her hands-on approach to partnering provides the support needed to take your organization through the difficult transitional phases of adopting Agile.
• Software Development using XP practices – Lavanya’ s software development background combined with her passion for extreme programming has made her an advocate for XP practices like Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Pair programming, etc.  She works with teams to identify tools and practices that will benefit them.  
• Team Leadership & Motivation - Lavanya ‘s approach is focused on getting real-world measurable results through servant leadership. She introduces innovative, culture appropriate pragmatic solving techniques to promote team engagement and accountability.
• Scaled Agile Implementation – As a Certified Safe Program Consultant, Lavanya has helped teams successfully launch  and implement Agile Release Trains

With a degree in Information Technology from BITS, Pilani, her experience in IT  playing developer, manager, scrum master roles, working across multiple domains, has provided Lavanya a wealth of varied experience which she puts to use to help teams build the right products and build them right. Lavanya is active in scrum communities of practices, and constantly thrives collective learning and growth as an Agile practitioner.
