About
I help government departments and agencies design modern digital services.
As the Design Lead for the Government of New Brunswick's Digital Transformation Team, I work to help redefine their service delivery by providing leadership, guidance and direction for the adoption of User-Centered Design (UCD) and the modernization of technology infrastructure. I help teams develop holistic views of their service delivery as we work to discover and align the needs of New Brunswick residents with business processes and technology. Using an iterative approach, I work to improve the public’s overall satisfaction when interacting with a government service by evaluating the value, viability, usability, accessibility, suitability, and sustainability of the new or improved digital service solution.
In addition to leading design processes, I serve as a technical expert, specializing in User Interface design (UI) and Interaction Design (IxD). I translate user needs, business needs, research findings, industry trends, best practices and usability heuristics into Information Architectures and hierarchies, navigation models, interaction models, user flows, and design specifications, and communicate these plans visually to stakeholders through wireframes, hi-fidelity designs, interactive prototyping software, and prototyping in code.
