Shun Xian (Bryan) Wu is currently an Agile Coach at Glodon PMO since March, 2021.
He had been a project manager (Title) at IBM China Labs UXL(User Experience Lab) and the Scrum Master and coach (role) of a few Agile teams in China Labs, and also is the QSE Agile community Chair of IBM China Labs and one of the Agile Champion of IBM Agile Academy. He takes the CSM, CSPO, CSP, SPC4, ACP, PRINCE 2, PMI-ACP and PMP certificates. Bryan has a Master's degree of Computer Application Technologies.
Bryan has 12 years work experience on software testing, automation testing, team management and project management, and has serviced at Microsoft, CA and IBM since 2005, graduated from JiLin University (JLU) with a Master's degree of computer technologies. And he has almost 6 years' Agile/Scrum experience since 2010 at Agile teams with Scrum and other Agile framework and practices/technologies, e.g. Pair Programming, TDD.
Bryan learns and practices the Scrum and other Agile practices since 2010, has lead and directed many Agile teams to learn, adopt the Scrum practice, help many teams transform to be more agile. The teams include development teams, testing teams, IT teams and even HR teams. Bryan had also taught many Agile/Scrum courses and workshops for Agile beginners, practitioners and teams within IBM China Labs and some customers from 2014. From Feb 2016, Bryan becomes an Agile Champion of IBM Agile Academy,provided the coaching, teaching and consulting services for the development teams of IBM Systems business unit.
At inside of IBM company, Bryan submitted at least 4 Agile practice articles to IBM QSE AP Symposium from 2013 to 2016, and all of them are accepted. Among of these papers, 1 is selected as Presentation, 1 is selected as Poster. At outside of IBM, as a speaker of TiD Agile China 2015, Bryan shared the practice experience of pair programming at IBM China labs. And once again, as a speaker of TiD 2016, Bryan shared the practice experience of Design Thinking at IBM. Bryan is also a proactive Agile practitioner, enthusiastic Agile promoter. Bryan is the active organizer of Agile Tour 2014, 2015 and the core member of Beijing Agile Community.
Currently, Bryan focuses on the areas of Agile Practice Landing/Agile Team Transformation, Design Thinking, Software Globalization. He has translated 2 software engineering books into Simplified Chinese.
Bryan takes the Project Manager title at IBM UXL team from July 2012. Before joined IBM, experienced 3 years as a QA Team leader in CA Technologies with Scrum/Agile method from June 2009 to July 2012. Before that, he had worked 4 years in Microsoft on SQL Server Integration Services automation testing and test team management from August 2005 to June 2009.
