Break • 10 minutes

MODULE 5

Frequently Asked Questions

You can take the exam as soon as the class is over. Scrum Alliance gives you up to 90 days after completing the course to take your first exam attempt.

Yes. The exam is open book and is not proctored, which means you can use your notes and Scrum resources while taking it, and no one is monitoring you during the exam.

No. If you don't pass on your first attempt, you can retake the exam immediately. There is no waiting period.

On a scale of 1–10, I would rate it about a 5. To pass, you need to answer at least 37 out of 50 questions correctly (74%). The exam is really a reflection of how well I've done my job as a trainer in helping you understand Scrum. If you actively participate in class and review the materials, you should do very well.

Yes, if you'd like to keep your certification active. The certification is valid for two years. To renew it, you can either take another Scrum Alliance course or pay the renewal fee (currently $100) and log 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs).

No. Once you pass the exam, you never need to take it again. Renewal only requires meeting Scrum Alliance's renewal requirements.

No. Once you pass the exam, you cannot retake it to improve your score. Your score does not appear on your certification. Only you and Scrum Alliance can see your individual score. As a trainer, I can only see the class average.

On the last day of class, you'll receive an email from Scrum Alliance with instructions for creating your account. The setup process typically takes about five minutes. Once your account is active, you'll see a link on your Scrum Alliance dashboard that allows you to take the exam.

Yes. All 50 questions are multiple choice.

Yes. After completing the exam, you'll receive feedback showing which questions you answered incorrectly so you can review those areas and learn from them.

You can get help with resume or LinkedIn, interview preparation, career direction, or coaching on real challenges you face in your role.

Yes. You may repeat the full live course once within 12 months at no additional tuition cost. You may also move your registration to another available class without a change fee when you contact me before your scheduled class begins.

Fantastic training session! Miljan did an incredible job keeping the class engaging, highly interactive, and perfectly paced. The material was clear, relevant, and delivered so well that the time completely flew by. One of the best training experiences I’ve had, highly recommended!

Miljan was a very good instructor and the session was very interactive

Great takeaways - practical knowledge I can use in my organization.

The course was well-structured and thoughtfully organized. The instructor explained concepts clearly, and the excellent balance of lectures and hands-on workshops made learning engaging and effective.

As someone with no practical Agile experience, I really valued the Scrum simulation and practical hands-on group activities going over real-world scenarios. I feel prepared to not only pass the exam, but to also practice Scrum in my next job.

Miljan was a wonderful instructor. Great course and very engaging way to teach the basics of Scrum.

Liked openness and simplicity of course.

Very organized and taught at a nice pace.

His class is very interactive and engaging. There is never a dull moment.
