Scrum Better with Kanban is a practical, interactive course for teams that use Scrum but struggle with too much work in progress, hidden bottlenecks, unpredictable delivery, or unfinished work spilling across Sprints.

Rather than replacing Scrum, this course shows you how Kanban practices can strengthen it. Through realistic examples, hands-on exercises, and actionable techniques, you’ll learn to make work visible, improve flow, use data to guide decisions, and create a sustainable culture of continuous improvement. You’ll leave with practical ideas you can apply immediately with your Scrum Team.

This course offers a dual-certification experience through Scrum Alliance and Kanban University. Students who attend the entire course, participate fully, and satisfy all applicable completion requirements will be eligible to receive credentials from both organizations—demonstrating their ability to apply Kanban practices within Scrum to improve flow, predictability, and value delivery.

This course is ideal for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers, Agile Coaches, team leaders, and managers who want to improve how work flows through their Scrum system. It is especially valuable for teams experiencing too much work in progress, bottlenecks, carryover between Sprints, or unpredictable delivery. A basic understanding of Scrum is helpful.

Full attendance and active participation are required. Students must have a working camera and audio and should expect to remain on camera throughout the course. To be eligible for certification, students must attend and participate in the entire course; partial attendance does not qualify.
