Do I need deep expertise in a specific programming language?

No. Deep language skills aren't required — exercises focus more on agile development techniques and are offered in many popular languages including Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C++, and PHP. This is a hands-on programming course: actual code will be written, tested, and reviewed.

What do I need to earn the A-CSD certification?

You'll need to complete the course and its assignments, validate 12+ months of experience working as a Scrum Developer/team member, and hold an earned CSD with the Scrum Alliance (it need not be currently active).

What do I need to attend the live workshop?

Since the class is highly interactive, you'll need a camera and microphone to participate. You should have an integrated development environment (VS Code, JetBrains, Visual Studio, etc.) installed. A GitHub account and basic familiarity with git repositories is useful but not a strict requirement.

We covered a lot of subjects in this class I found useful. I've already brought pair and mob programming back to my scrum team and we've attempted both. The test driven development was good, though I wish I would have spent more time setting up an IDE, but I think I'm the one who dropped the ball there. Also, my team writes a lot of microservices for enterprise software, I.E. data from Workday needs to go to this new system. I never get a good answer on what good tests even are for these situations.

Amazing coaching with a lot of new tools to develop project faster, and stable

Paul is a fantastic instruction and no-brainer for any developer who wants an Agile certification. There is actual coding in his courses to enforce larger concepts, and is always willing to answer any questions whatsoever, no matter how small. Will discuss your current Agile team and recommend tips on how to improve your team's dynamic. There isn't any fluff in this course, all valuable information, knowledge, and TONS of resources to review after the class!
