It was a very worthwhile course for understanding the Product Owner role. There was a good mix of tutor-led learning and practical discussion.

Great comprehensive training on Scrum for Product Owners.

I think it wasn't really fit for purpose due to being in a role that doesn't directly map to a scrum set up. I thought I'd be able to take inspiration from the scrum set up in my role but I got told it's 'fake scrum' if you don't take all of it. The training course builds cumulatively on a concept that is created at the start of day one, and so if you lose your way during any of the steps, it then has a knock on effect for you understanding the next step. It's not sense checked at the end of each step because there was too many people on the course for the trainer to have that much attention to detail. When we spent some extra time in the breakout room to detangle one of the steps we then needed a bit more time for the task at hand but were told 'there's no such thing as extra time in business'. Disappointing.

Excellent course and trainer. A great mix of slides with videos and interactive collaboration which has given me a thorough understanding of the role which will no doubt help in my role.

Goes through a slide deck with the links where you can find the information for free. What am I paying for? It does not really teach you how to think like a PO.
