Rick Walters, my instructor was awesome as he facilitated the course! He was very knowledgable and his experience as a Scrum Master instructor was cascaded throughout the fun learning environment that he maintained. I definitely recommend potential students to choose Skillbook Academy for your certification needs

Hrucha Mehta

I was looking to augment my profile and experience with an agile certification. Having already been a practitioner of Lean Manufacturing principles, it was easy to grasp the framework of Scrum. What made it further simpler was the way Rick conducted the workshop. He made the content highly engaging and easy to grasp. Highly recommended.

Candice Pack

Rick Walters is not only an excellent SCRUM trainer he is an excellent teacher in general and I can not say enough great things about his SCRUM Master Certification course. I feel like I spent two days having a blast and was somehow tricked into learning a ton of material. You know the material and teacher are good when learning doesn't feel overwhelming or exhausting.

Felicia Ketteman

I completed the Certified ScrumMaster training through Skillbook Academy. My trainer,Rick Walters was great at keeping our class engaged, providing enough breaks and getting consensus within our class on all of our subjects relating to the CSM exam

Took a CSM course over a weekend. The instructor Rick was knowledgeable, approachable, engaging. They set up a truly helpful set of scenarios to workshop and discuss in preparation for the exam, which I fully credit for my passing score! Hard to beat the registration cost, too.

Chandler Creel

I had a great experience with Skillbook Academy taking the CSM course. The class size was the perfect size; engaging, not too big or too small. The instructor was very knowledgable, informative, had a good sense of humour and was open to answering all questions. Both days of the course were organized well, stuck to the agenda and provided great value for knowledge.

Amy Spyridon

Rick was absolutely amazing. He explained the information so well someone not familiar with SCRUM (me) was able to understand the gist of a Scrum Master (SM). Rick thank you for your humor and for sharing your life stories/experience. I’ve already recommend Rick to others interested in becoming a CSM.

Liz Juroe

Outstanding Course! Rick is an amazing instructor, he is passionate about teaching and gives you a full understanding of what he walks you through. I truly enjoyed the class and would highly recommend it, especially if the instructor is Rick!

Rick is an exceptional instructor. He is very knowledgeable and engaging. I learned a lot from him. If you have the opportunity to learn from him, it’s worth it!

Rick is an awesome instructor. I like the way the class is set up. The way he teaches helps you understand the role you will be doing. I would gladly take another course with Rick again.

Really great experience! I learned a lot about Scrum over these two days of training. The instructor took time to answer questions and used clear examples. I mentioned that I am a French speaker, and he made me feel comfortable. He told me that if he spoke too fast, I could just let him know, which I really appreciated. Thank you Rick!

Really good teacher and class. He teaches it so good that you don't really need your notes for the exam. I highly recommend Rick. He used real life experience that really help you not forget things.

I absolutely loved Rick's CSM course! He is patient, articulate, and genuinely one of the best instructors I've had. His real world examples make even the trickiest concepts click, and he has a natural gift for breaking things down in a way that just makes sense. If you're looking for a CSM course that's both engaging and easy to follow, look no further: Rick is your guy! Highly recommend!
