There are many techniques and practices that can help a ScrumMaster perform their role effectively and successfully. This is one of the few CSM workshops that will explore many of these techniques and practices through hands on simulations while keeping Agile’s values and principles in the spotlight!

Being a great ScrumMaster goes well beyond helping to facilitate the Scrum activities. Success depends on teamwork and teams, impediment identification and removal, collaboration, focus and continuous improvement.

As one of the largest and fastest-growing agile frameworks, Scrum is a simple, yet powerful way to manage product requirements, elevate quality, and accelerate project delivery. One of the key roles in Scrum is that of ScrumMaster, the person tasked with helping the Scrum Team and organization find success through teamwork, focus, collaboration and continuous improvement.

The Rocket Nine Solutions Certified ScrumMaster course is a two-day, hands-on workshop, filled with practical advice and time-tested techniques designed to give students the foundation they need to succeed using Scrum. The CSM course offers a detailed examination of the Scrum project lifecycle and the ScrumMaster role, going beyond the basic definitions to focus on how to achieve success as a ScrumMaster with Scrum. Course delivery is varied for optimal learning, with activities ranging from case study analyses and in-depth lectures, to hands-on exercises and interactive games. Each person will leave this course empowered with practical, applicable advice and skills they can immediately apply once they return to the office.

Certified Scrum Product Owner Training, Orange county, Scott Dunn, Rocket Nine Solutions

As part of this course, students will participate in exercises, in-depth discussion, case studies and techniques to help illustrate practices and principles. Attendees will also receive a two-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, an organization that provides valuable materials and resources exclusively to CSMs.

From Our Students:

  • “Just wanted to say thanks again for running this 2 day class.  I've learned a great deal from you and you are one heck of an instructor.  I will definitely recommend you to some of my colleagues for the CSM course.  Anyhow, I just took the exam and passed it!!”
  • “I went in skeptical about the entire concept of Scrum and came out a believer. Scott was fantastic!”
  • “Great course to take me from very basic Scrum knowledge to confidence that I can implement on my own.”

They are available on a first come, first served basis. Sometimes they're all gone even months before an event. It is a Scrum Alliance platform limitation that forces a date to be listed for when a discount ends. While we try to match the dates listed here with the actual discount tier currently available, we do not guarantee that the discount date listed here will be reflected on our registration site. One discount that does not expire or get used up is our group discount available for groups of 3 to 7. Please click the "Register Now" button to see our currently available pricing.

Media Release Policy - Please be aware that Rocket Nine Solutions (Scott Dunn, et al) may choose to record electronic and traditional media (e.g., photographs, video, audio footage, testimonials) at this event and attendees may appear in these recordings. By submitting a registration for yourself or someone else, or by attending this event, you grant permission for Rocket Nine Solutions to store those recordings in a database and to use them in future print, electronic, or other visual media for educational and/or marketing purposes. If you do not wish to grant permission, please contact the event coordinator listed below prior to attending the event.
