“Manage” projects and believe on deliver value in less time, not using a whip, but through the intrinsic motivation of each one of the team members. Yes, he always think on teams because only a multi functional and auto organized team is prepared for changes in complex projects that he likes to work on.
He does a lot of coaching making the business analysts understand what is continuous delivery, MVP, customer feedback. That’s because they have to imagine creating a small startup. Aside of that he spend the time spreading the knowledge learned on the past years: maintenance, business administration, infrastructure, linux servers, programming, crm, amazon cloud, marketing and now agile methods.
He wants to change organizations, those ones that are pretty unorganized or those that have the old thinking “command and control”, make them believe that they can be agile for changes, more lean for less waste and more eXtreme for more quality.
He does not act this way because of a spotlight or medals, but because he believes in the values: focus, courage, commitment, openness and respect.
