Scott Weeklund

I have been working on project teams as a PM for 30 years and have a great passion for team work, team dynamics, problem solving, CI and team collaboration.  I have been a CSP for 9 years. 

I have worked on many teams but only a few that I would  truly call "high performance".  Those were the best professional experiences I have had in my career.  3 of these are very recent.

All of my most valued education has come from experience on the Job.  I have learned many different industries and verticals and have loved that part of my career.

Before Project Work and Consulting I spent time in the US Navy, in school, and on the job in several different management and leadership positions primarily in the High Tech Service industry.  Service management; Field service, Depot Service /repair, Electronics repair, Computer service and repair, Software Development, Operations Management and Supply Chain management, not neccesarily in that order.

Now, with Scrum/Agile, I have found a place to really sink my feet in.  I love this stuff.  The success I have had with it is very fulfilling.  I am certified as a CSP and want to obtain CSC and CST.  These have proven cost prohibitive since in my positions and career to date Ihave not had any revenue generating opportunities to offset the cost that many other CSC or CST professionals do.   I have been scrum Master/PM and many projects, done a lot of Scrum coaching for other teams both internally and externally, and done scrum Agile training many times, again internally and externally.

Ask me about Cofigurable Agility in the use of the Scrum framework that softens the blow to agile inexperienced clients we develop software for as a consultancy.  Pure Scrum is far too big of a challenge for many organizations, but the framework and tools taken "cafeteria style" along with configuring your sprints with a "touch" of waterfall (Dev to QA carryover) has proven very successful and does deliver shippable code each sprint following the first 3.
