Shannon Murdock

Raised in rural Central Louisiana, Shannon is the eldest of two sons by Brenda Hataway Murdock Prier and Russell Murdock. He attended the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts, a residential public high school for gifted and talented students, and went on to pursue an undergraduate degree in Speech and Performing Arts at Louisiana Scholars' College, later transferring to Northwestern State University.

Shannon worked for Dell, Inc. from June of 2002 until March 2018. He has held roles ranging from Federal Order Processor, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Business Analyst on several Oracle EBS implementations globally, and most recently as a Technical Product Manager acting as Scrum Master for a distributed global Scrum Team who spent all of 2015 making the transition to the Agile Methodology for software development on another global enterprise program, focused on development of functionality for Oracle r12 Accounts Receivables.

Shannon currently works as a Business Analyst III for the City of Tacoma's Information Technology Department, performing the roles of Scrum Master and Product Owner for the Web & Information Services Team.
