Cognizant, Scrum Master/ Agile Coach

I am working as a scrum master / agile coach for enterprise car rental (customer of cognizant technology solutions). In this engagement I first worked to develop a vanpooling platform and then a carsharing platform for enterprise rent a car. Both of them are completely new development where requirements were unknown and business was evolving. So we chooses scrum and emphasize on developing potential shippable products and took ‘inspect and adapt’ approach. Both projects included multiple team distributed over different locations (specifically India and US). Car sharing project includes 50+ team members and Vanpooling 30+ Team member) To overcome certain challenges of distributed agile implementation we implemented Atlassian tool set (Jira agile, confluence, zephyr). I` played the key role in selecting this tool set and this tool set and processes designed by me is now being utilized in other projects in enterprise car rental. Use of video conferencing, avoiding email by putting comments in confluence and jira, online chat server are some key tools that help us to become successful in both projects. I mentored development teams and other Scrum masters to practice and adhere to the scrum practices and delivered potentially shippable increment at end of each release. I also helped product owners to prepare the road map and provides inputs on planning / scoping deliverable for the project. I manages scrum of scrum, release train, Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Tracking, Sprint Review, Retrospectives and process improvement. I also explained and socialized different agile report (ex. sprint burn down, release burn down chart, cumulative flow) in enterprise higher management. I shared different reports, Ex. weekly status report, sprint report, release report to business and higher management in Enterprise IT organization.
