Smita Bhakta

Smita Bhakta received her MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and is currently working as a Technical Project Manager at Verion Media. She is a scrum master for multiple software development teams and managed a wide range of company projects that included launching, improving and sunsetting products. 

Her career began as an Applications Engineering Project Coordinator where she managed a small team of engineers; she then quickly transitioned into working in Sales Operations at Netlist Inc. where she collaborated across departments to create innovative solutions and resolve project issues to meet customer needs. After working at Netlist, she worked in Sales Operations at Media Temple where she drove strategic changes to improve efficiency within the organization. Her skills include using both agile and waterfall project management methodologies, data analysis, problem solving, and operations management.
