Rod Wittich Experience:
Agile Experience: I am an Advanced - Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) and a Certified Scrum@Scale Practitioner (CSaSP) . I am currently the SM for two teams, one off-shore and one in Illinois. I have been the SM for a leadership team using both Scrum and Kanban. I have three years’ experience as the IT Division Lead for two scrum teams.
Coaching Experience: I have been coaching since September 2003, including level 1 – 5 leaders from six different countries. I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through International Coach Federation with 900+ documented hours coaching individuals and teams. I spent four years as an HR manager where I developed and executed processes to improve troubled teams, on-boarded first-time supervisors, elevated wage supervisor’s leadership skills, developed experienced managers and senior company leaders, and conducted individual and team assessments for development planning.
Organizational Change Experience: I have led three teams through major organizational changes, and I am currently leading a fourth. The first was an IT development team where in 18 months my team of twelve direct reports and thirteen contingent staff moved support of 20+ applications and added millions of dollars’ worth of projects and support to the twenty developers on a newly formed off-shore development team. The second was an HR team where I transitioned 16 trainers into consultants whose responsibility were for all employees in the US and Canada. The team worked with 100+ teams with 11.9% overall improvement and a multimillion-dollar value add. This was accomplished by a team whose Employee Survey Results were 86% Response, 96% Engagement, and 90% Manager Effectiveness. The third was a "miscellaneous" IT team where I created a team from six different teams. I cross-trained team members which resulted in a satisfied team with a more diverse skill set and solved the issue of applications without backup support. The resulting employee survey results was 100% Response, 92% Engagement, and 95% Manager Effectiveness.
