I believe people make in the end the difference in every project. The skills of the people, how they work together and how they feel. Scrum, Personal Development, eXtreme Programming, Management 3.0 are in the end just tools or frameworks that are there to help people.

I have been working in IT since 1997. I had different roles, from developer, tester, coach, lead, manager, VP, etc. However, what I always liked was working with people to improve the process, the environment they work in.

Some of my highlights of my career so far are:

• Setting up Agile Testing in a Scrum environment as one of the first ISV companies in the Netherlands
• Hiring and building distributed development teams between the Netherlands and India
• Implementing successful Management 3.0 practices like Exploration Days, Guilds and Kudo Cards in a distribution environment
• Building a nearshore location, including selecting the location, from scratch

In 2015 I decided to start my own company, Agile Strides. My mission is to help people make a next step in their career, it can be a step in improving their organisation, their team or just the way they work.
