Richard Kronfält earned a "Master of Science in Software Engineering specialized in Management" at the Swedish technical university of Blekinge (formerly University of Karlskrona-Ronneby) in 2000.
Started out as a C++ developer and architect in own company "Elegant Media AB" that was run in Malmö in the south of Sweden. Elegant Media developed software for multimedia production.
In late 2001 Richard left Elegant Media to join Seavus AB, a software consultancy company working mainly with outsourcing. There, Richard worked as Project Manager and through the years helped the company grow from 20 persons to around 3000 six years later.
Richard was responsible for a very large number of projects and clients; Hi3G, Ericsson Mobile Platforms, Tele2 Europe, IMP and Parkering Malmö to name a few.
In late 2006 Richard was made head of department for the three departments "Presales", "Solution Design" and "Business Analysis, which were located at Seavus' headquarter in Skopje, Macedonia. Richard worked part-time from Macedonia and part-time from Sweden.
About a year later Richard left Seavus (after a total of six years there) to head the development of Power Challenge AB, as Development Director.
In february 2009 Richard left Power Challenge to take on the role as Engineering Manager at Axis Communications.

Engineering Manager means line manager, or team manager. Not formally a scrum role. I am formally responsible for the development for one of Axis' software products (AVHS) and in practise I have also been responsible for the testing of the product. I have 20 reportees plus 4-5 consultants. The team does customer support, product maintenance, architecture maintenance, new feature development, all testing and maintenance and development of all test tools and test environments.
