Randy Horton is digOnline’s Senior Account Executive and Business Development lead. Randy has been involved in the design, development and implementation of strategic based digital initiatives for over twenty years.

 

In 1994, Randy joined The Globe and Mail, where he lead the creative department of PointCast Canada, the world’s first push media company.  Randy was responsible for consulting with various organizations to identify best practices for online advertising and digital promotions through The Globe and Mail properties.  Later in his career, he lead the development and deployment of Bell Globe Media’s suite of digital properties including GlobeWheels, GlobeFund and Workopolis to name a few.

 

Randy has been a full-time instructor of Advertising Design, Digital Communications and Web Development at Ryerson University since 2006 where he not only instructed, but designed curriculum for both undergraduate and Master level courses in Interactive Media and Emerging Media and Digital Production.

 

Randy joined digOnline in March of 2014 to manage client initiatives and lead business development and marketing strategy.  Since that time he has been instrumental in the clarification and execution of several highly complex digOnline projects, and continues to create impact for internal and external stake holders.

 

Randy’s consulting experience includes clients like C.I.B.C., The Canadian Broadcasting Company, Bell Globe Media, Disney Corporation, Wood Gundy, Scotiabank, the Learning Library and other public facing international branded organizations.
