Rommel Acuna

Rommel Acuna is a Vice President of Software Engineering at Radian Guaranty, Inc. headquartered in Philadelphia.  He is responsible for overseeing IT enterprise transformations and has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry of which the last thirteen years focused on financial services sector serving property & casualty and worker’s compensation carriers.  Prior to joining Radian, Rommel was at a Big Four accounting firm where he served as an Executive Director within their Information Technology Advisory practice.  He has experience specializing in project management, enterprise systems development/implementations, system testing, enterprise application integration, and web development.  Rommel has been involved with implementing enterprise insurance transformation engagements to update the technology and improve the business processes.  He also has experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementations, system integrations, data warehouses/data stores, application quality assurance, and business intelligence/reporting.  Rommel’s experience spans the insurance, healthcare/life sciences, telecommunications, technology, and manufacturing industries.

Rommel has a M.B.A. in Computer Information Science from Temple University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, has met the Project Management Institute (PMI®) education, experience, and examination requirements to be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®), and is also a Certified ScrumMaster as recognized by the ScrumAlliance.
