Title: Solutions Architect

Paul Summers has introduced and implemented the Scrum framework for agile software development in multiple organizations over the past 10+ years, and has assembled multiple Scrum Teams to provide agile custom software development services to federal agencies and commerical customers.  Managing up to 5 geographically distributed development teams at once, he has utilized essential SAFe practices to align resources, architecture, team interdependencies, and release schedules to facilitate quality, on-time delivery against product roadmaps and statements of work.

Paul has extensive experience in the Scrum Developer and ScrumMaster roles, in addition to serving as development team lead/manager, project manager, and director.  He has provided Scrum training and coaching to federal and private customers, as well as company employees at all organizational levels from developer, to management, to executive leadership.

With a strong software development background, Paul has designed, developed, and architected software on development teams of varying sizes for more than 20 years.  Since attaining his ScrumMaster certification in 2010, he has utilized the Scrum framework for agile software development to manage C#/ASP.NET, SharePoint, Power Platform, and Open Source development projects for private and public-sector customers on both remote and co-located development teams.

Paul has primarily utilized Microsoft's Team Foundation Server 2010/2013 on-prem and cloud-based Visual Studio Online/Azure DevOps for Application Lifecycle Management.  Specifically, he has managed project artifacts: sprint/product backlogs, features, user stories, tasks, Kanban boards, burndowns, and other reports/dashboards, in addition to source code control, build automation, and build management.  For Open Source projects, Paul has also used GitHub, Trello, and Taiga cloud-based agile project management tools.
