I am a competent and experienced Scrum Master and Agile Project Manager with a number of years experience in managing, internal as well as external, multi-disciplinary teams of varying sizes as well as complex programs of work. With the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders, I can turn a proposal into a product and am particularly successful in roles that demand a ‘take ownership’ attitude, along with a high level of drive, dedication and a focus on getting things done. My breadth and depth of experience, as well as exposure to quality critical environments, means I can tailor, and use, my Prince2 Practitioner and Scrum Master certifications efficiently and effectively.
Specialties: Helping new teams find their Scrum feet and getting dysfunctional teams back on track
November 2015 - May 2016,
A multi-national, multi-channel retail supplier of office and related products.
Here I replaced a 3rd party implementation ‘Scrum Master’ bringing the role in-house. I was Scrum Master for two Scrum teams with a mix of permanent and contract resources across three countries. The Product owners were spread across MK & Venlo in the Netherlands. Primarily responsibility was shifting the existing practices to true Scrum, and improving predictability of delivery and confidence and skills of the Scrum teams. Also key was streamlining their process and implementing ‘test in sprint’ reducing subsequent re-work and improving the reliability of the deployment build.

This role was to service two contracts. One for FDB as a Project Manager, initiating, planning and managing two international development projects. This required managing clinical teams in London and Exeter and the workflow between the local teams, the clients in Israel & Australia as well as interaction with a US based clinical team.
The second was for MoM as a Scrum Master. The Java development team was based in London with a second .Net team split between the London and Exeter office. This Role was mainly reinforcing and reintroducing Scrum practices, regaining lost discipline and rebuilding the team, while delivering critical improvements to a key product.
